    Encountering the Risen Lord
    Based on John 20:19-31

The historical fact of the resurrection has overwhelming evidence. So many still won't believe. Like Thomas, emotions often keep us from seeing the truth.

“With the Resurrection it’s All or Nothing”
    Based on 1 Corinthians 15:12,16-20

There’s something intriguing about an “all or nothing” scenario. St. Paul talked about an “all or nothing” scenario with the Corinthians and us. He said that if Jesus rose from the dead, then we have ALL of the blessings he promised. If he didn’t, then we have nothing! Thankfully Jesus is alive. We have it all - forgiveness, peace, joy and so much more. He is risen! He is risen indeed!

    Based on Mark 11:1-1-10

On Palm Sunday, King Jesus received a royal welcome as he entered into Jerusalem. But nothing about Jesus looked royal or kingly. That is because Jesus is not the kind of king people want, but the kind of king we need.

“Dear Diary…only three days until I give up my life…”
    Based on John 12:20-33

Do keep a diary? Did you ever wonder what Jesus would have written in his journal with only three days until he would give up his life? Based on what happened on Tuesday of Holy Week, he would have thought about a transition taking place, the “big picture” of why his death was so important, Satan’s role in everything, and what he wanted for his followers moving forward and much more. We explored what Jesus might have written in his diary on that Tuesday - based on this Gospel lesson!
