What to Expect When Witnessing to Your Faith – Children’s Version
Based on Acts 14:8-18

Jesus told us to “go and make disciples” by sharing a message about our Savior. Sometimes that can seem to be intimidating and daunting. But when you know what to expect, it becomes that much easier. Paul and Barnabas shared their faith, too. As we examine their efforts and what happened to them, we gain insight into what we can expect in our evangelism efforts! Then we become more comfortable and confident in telling others about our Savior.

    God’s Recipe for Success
    Based on Joshua 1:59

On a Confirmation Sunday it’s good for Confirmands of today (and from years gone by) to be reminded how we can be “prosperous and successful” in God’s eyes as we serve him. God reviewed the “recipe” for Joshua and us to do just that. It starts with promises from God to be with us. They it’s followed by encouragements to be faithful with His Word. And he concludes with a repeat of his promise!  That’s how God helped Joshua and that’s how He helps each of us!

Safe in the Hands of a Loving God
    Based on John 10:2230

At times we may feel like God is so distant from us. As our world comes crashing down we wonder, “Where is God in all of this.” We are reminded, however, that our Good Shepherd is never far off. We are safe with him as our leader. We are safe in his caring hands.

    Everyday Effects of Easter
    Based on John 21:1-17

How much different are our lives now that Easter is over? For the disciples and Peter their lives changed drastically. Those same changes are a part of our lives. Because of Easter we are part of the closest of communities and we can have the boldest bravery in approaching God.

    Easter’s Cure for Doubt
    Based on John 20:19-31

Many Christians privately struggle with doubts. Some of Jesus’ closest disciples did as well. We can’t ‘prove’ the existence of God or Jesus’ resurrection because these are things that can only be known through faith. Spend time with Jesus, like Thomas did, and let his voice chase your doubts away.

    Seeing is Believing?
    Based on John 20:19-31

Seeing is Believing? Thomas thought you could only believe in things you can see. Jesus teaches us that some of the most important things in life are things we can’t see, but still believe.
